2025 Volunteer Opportunities

Join our 2025 Spring and Fall Volunteer Work Days

With over 300 acres of wooded, mountain property, it takes a HUGE TEAM to keep things safe and beautiful for our guests at Sugar Pine. We depend on volunteers like YOU to help make this life-changing ministry happen. Our Volunteer Work Days are on Saturdays, but we invite our volunteers to make it a weekend! Come and spend Friday night with us for free (RSVP required) and get a little “vacation” before we spend the day serving together. Jobs involve construction, cleaning, raking pine needles for fire safety, painting and chainsaw work. With jobs for all abilities, we encourage families to come and serve together!

Spring Work Weekends – May 9-10  &  May 16-17

Help Sugar Pine as we get camp ready for a full summer of ministry. We will work together to clean, rake around cabins for fire safety, cut trees down, and build our new deck in front of the A-Frame at TImber Mountain. Bring a group of friends, your family or your youth group — we will supply breakfast, lunch and snacks to keep you all going on Saturday.

Fall Work Day – October 24-25

Help Sugar Pine as we prepare camp for winter. There are always repairs needed after a full summer, and there are always pine needles, and downed trees to clear.

Check-in any time on Friday evening after 6:00 pm.  (no dinner served)

“Designer” s’mores, hot drinks and fun around the fire pits starting at 8:00 pm.

Saturday night accommodations available upon request (meals on your own)
